An ABL history needs to be written

The Australian Baseball League has a unique, encouraging and a tragic history, which is why its past needs to be recorded and appreciated. The previous franchised version of the ABL from 1989-90 to 1998-99, and the Major League Baseball/Australian Baseball Federation backed version from 2010-11 to date should be researched and written as a history while records are still locatable and key people can be interviewed. The achievements of great ABL teams, players, and the high and low points for the league needs to be more than yarns and memories. The successful future of anything is often complemented by a thorough knowledge of the past.
